that exactly is my question here………
orkut,sms,cellphone,email,voip……so many things……remembering a friend who u havent kept in touch with and dont know where to begin,no problem leave him a scrap….
thought of a cousin in bombay,no problem call them up on their number..
a friend on an international tour n u gotta know what he been doing,guess what,no problem chat with him through any messenger…
parents in america,no problem use skype to talk and there is always a webcam……
GETTING THE POINT I”M TRYIN TO MAKE HERE,ANYONE!!..
should i say CAN u realy miss anyone..
with all this technology kickin in,its impossible to actually miss someone..its like its challengin u…
i’m not saying its a bad thing just that the children of today wont know how exactly that feeling is of missing someone..hows the feeling is when meeting the person after a long time..how much happier they could be..the real feeling is not there…we’ll never know..they’ll never know……

More than about missing someone, it’s about if you can really care enough about someone to remember little things about them w/o all the so-called social networks.
Now, you longer have to remember anyone’s birthday, ph. no., address, favourite things coz orkut/facebook/something will always be there to remind you. All that we do, if at all, is take a second out, wish someone on scrap and go on. That’s probably the most impersonal way of wishing someone. If you really cared, a scrap means nothing.

@suraksa:at this pace in the near future we’ll know the person is dead only if he stops sending mails and scraps…seriously…no matter even if we already knew dat person is dead or nor well or something..it’ll be a hard back to reality only when the incoming of all mails sms scraps from the other person stops..
